Peg Murphy-Bright has over 40 years of professional experience in the entertainment and  real estate industries. She is a people person, a dedicated problem solver who embraces diverse challenges and is highly motivated, possessing strong managerial and communication skills. As a native New Yorker Peg received a Liberal Arts Degree from Fordham University after having attended The University College in Dublin, Ireland. Peg started her career as an editorial assistant and event coordinator at McGraw-Hill before moving on to the motion picture industry where she worked for a small independent production company  that produced and financed over 40 feature films in the 70's and 80's. She gained extensive knowledge in production, financing, sales, marketing and event planning.  Peg also has had experience in managing a rental property in New York City and has dealt with Co- Op Boards and Condominium Associations.  Peg has always had an affinity for Rhode Island and especially the Westerly area.  In 2005 Peg moved to Westerly when she began working on the marketing and sales of custom built homes in a high end active adult community in the area.  She was known for her extraordinary care in working with her clients always going the extra mile and making sure they were welcomed to the community.  Peg has served on the boards of several volunteer and school organizations over the years while raising her son who has also become a dedicated Rhode Islander during his school holidays and breaks from active duty as a Marine Corps Officer. Since becoming permanent residents of Rhode Island in 2010 Peg has become involved in local charities including the Warm Shelter and the Westerly Library. The Brights have made many long lasting friendships in the community can often be seen at the dog park in Charlestown or strolling the beach with their adorable but wacky Springer Spaniel.  Peg is very excited and proud about her recent affiliation with The Brown Group Realty.
